According to a statement from ABE UK, students from ĢTVƵ College are also “listed among ABE’s Global Top Paper Award Winners”.

The statement, signed by Anthony Antagamen, ABE UK Director for West Africa, described PUC as “forward-thinking” and an “innovative-led institution” that has worked exceptionally to make quality British Education accessible to hundreds of students in Ghana.

ABE is a UK based professional programme which offers courses like Business Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management among others.

ĢTVƵ College has won 18 ABE Global Awards.

According to Coordinator for the programme, Mr. Augustine Antwi-Bosiako, the ABE Centre at PUC operates ‘a student first policy’, which ensures that students receive the best tutelage to help them excel in the UK exams.

He said students who had challenges with their WASSCE grades can also enroll for the diploma programmes in ABE.

He added that such students would be offered free remedial tuition in Maths and English to help them score better grades.

ABE Students embark on Employability and Self Development Tour /abe-students-embark-on-employability-and-self-development-tour/ /abe-students-embark-on-employability-and-self-development-tour/#comments Mon, 15 Oct 2018 10:57:03 +0000 /?p=8907 The Association of Business Executives (ABE) students of ĢTVƵ College (PUC) have embarked on an Employability and Self Development Tour at PUC Offices to identify behaviours, skills and attitudes that are increasingly demanded at the workplace.

“Regardless of possessing good qualifications and technical skills, many new recruits find it difficult to integrate and establish themselves in an existing team when starting a new position”, said Ms Doris Aryee, the Course Instructor. She added that this can have an adverse impact on their productivity and performance during the early stages of their employment. Hence, the need to expose students to the working environment to identify what it takes for new employees to become fully established and highly effective in their roles.

Isaac Oppong, an ABE student who participated in the tour, couldn’t hide his joy. He said, “now I know what goes on in the various offices and what employers require from us”. I strongly believe that this tour came just in time for us to develop our employability and entrepreneurial skills as students, he added.

ĢTVƵ College is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and ABE, UK to run the programme, and has also received approval as one of the ABE Examination Centres in Ghana.

PUC has consistently made significant strides in the Association of Business Executives (ABE) examinations at every sitting since the year 2011. Seven (7) students from ĢTVƵ College won Top Paper Awards in 2017.

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) provides flexible professional business qualifications which can lead to University entry or help in developing one’s career. ABE offers Diplomas in Business Management with additional pathways in Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.

ABE qualifications are accredited in the UK by Ofqual and are studied by 50,000 students every year in more than 400 Universities worldwide.

ĢTVƵ College receives accreditation as a Partner Centre for NCC Education /pentecost-university-college-receives-accreditation-as-a-partner-centre-for-ncc-education/ /pentecost-university-college-receives-accreditation-as-a-partner-centre-for-ncc-education/#comments Wed, 19 Sep 2018 15:53:49 +0000 http://206.189.20.232:8888/?p=8244 ĢTVƵ College (PUC) is now an accredited centre for NCC Education, an awarding organisation and global provider of British education.

PUC is accredited to teach the following NCC Education qualifications:

  • Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES)
  • Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT)
  • Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L5DBIT)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC)

The NCC Education works in partnership with Accredited Partner Centres and partner universities like PUC to provide students with an affordable pathway to obtain a UK university degree or masters qualification in the areas of Business and Computing.

NCC Education’s unique and student-centric supportive approach to providing this International Degree Pathway allows students the flexibility to enter or leave their degree journey at any point, the option to study at their own pace and receive a recognised certificate for their achievements at every stage.

NCC Education qualifications have boosted the careers of over 1,000,00 students worldwide, having gone on to work for multinational companies, SMEs or setting up their own businesses.

Not meeting the required grades for a Degree, does not imply all is lost. The main requirement for applicants for NCC Education is to have a pass in Maths and English in the WASSCE exams. ĢTVƵ College (PUC) offers students an opportunity to study a Diploma programme in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) which will later help integrate you into the mainstream Degree programme.

It will take a student 3 years to complete the programme, but students with a suitable certificate in IT can start at Level 4, taking 2 years to complete the programme. Successful completion of each level grants the student entry requirement for admission onto a corresponding degree level in Ghana, UK and other countries.

PUC provides free remedial in Maths and English for NCC Education students who do not have credit in Maths and English.

ĢTVƵ College is a Christian faith-based school, whose aim is to deliver quality education, research opportunities and training to students, in order to meet the demands of Ghana’s development.
